Catalina began her nursing career in 2020 after graduating with honours from the Bachelor of Nursing program at Mount Royal University. During the pandemic, Catalina assisted on the front lines by caring for many patients affected by covid and other infectious diseases. She has a passion for reducing barriers to patients accessing healthcare.
Catalina understands the fears associated with the dentist and has worked tirelessly to create a comfortable, relaxing environment where patients can seek the dental care they need. Since joining our team in 2021, Catalina has assisted Dr. Chao with all IV sedation in the office, creating a space where patients feel cared for. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, reading, and volunteering as a peer mentor in the community.
